The difference is in the frame, not the software. engo3 Titanium uses a 3D-printed aerospace-grade titanium structure that weighs 28 g instead of 38.5 g, and delivers 24+ hours of battery. The manufacturing process cannot be scaled, which is why only 500 exist.
Is engo3 Titanium worth it compared to the standard engo3?
If you run or ride for more than three hours at a time, yes. The 10 g difference and the extra battery matter most on long efforts. If your sessions are under an hour, the standard engo3 gives you the same data for less.
What is the difference between engo3 and engo3 Titanium?
Same display, same software, same compatibility. The Titanium is lighter (28 g vs 38.5 g), lasts longer (24+ h vs 20 h), uses a 3D-printed titanium frame instead of a polymer one, and is limited to 500 units worldwide.
Are titanium smart glasses worth the price?
Titanium is used here for one reason: strength-to-weight ratio. It allows a frame thin enough to disappear on your face while staying structurally stable at speed. It is the same reason aerospace uses it, and it is why the frame weighs 28 g.
Why is there no camera on engo3 Titanium?
By design. A camera adds weight, drains battery and invites you to look at your glasses instead of the road. engo3 Titanium exists to show your data and nothing else. Removing the camera is what allows 28 g and 24+ hours of autonomy.
Do engo3 Titanium have speakers or a microphone?
No, and that is deliberate. No speakers, no microphone, no notifications. Every one of those components costs weight, battery and attention. What remains is a 28 g frame and a display that shows your metrics without ever interrupting you.
Can I take calls or listen to music with engo3 Titanium?
No. engo3 Titanium is a performance display, not a headset. It pairs with your Garmin or Apple Watch to show live data in your field of view. Audio and calls stay on the devices already built for them.
Are engo3 Titanium AR glasses or smart glasses?
They are AR sport glasses. The lightweight augmented reality display projects your metrics directly into your line of sight, in full color. Unlike lifestyle smart glasses, there is no camera, no assistant and no notifications, only the data you selected.
