"Why would I need ENGO? I can just check my watch!"

"Why would I need ENGO? I can just check my watch!"

"I have the same data on my watch". We hear that a lot! But take it from Min: Sporadic watch checking do disrupt your stride. When spaced out, they create anxiety, cause pace drifts, and lead to measurable spikes in heart rate. With ENGO, it’s just you, the road ahead, and that perfect flow where your stride stays smooth as you lock in on your target pace or intensity. 🎯👟

Here’s the story of a solid 2:57 Boston Marathon ! 💪💥

“Boston is not the kind of course you want to run on an even-pace—with all the hills, you definitely want to go by feel as much as you can and maintain the even effort.

Garmin Pace-pro or other software allow you to come up with each mile split goals that you can use to pace yourself throughout the race—there are truly only three metrics that are really important that you need to pay attention during the race: total elapsed time, total distance, and lap pace.

Ultimately, there races are meant to be thoroughly enjoyed, regardless of time, but the most important metric goal for you is your elapsed time.  The total distance gives you rough idea of how you are running a tangent or not, compared to actual distance markers on the course.

Finally, the lap pace gives you the true sense of your effort based on elevation profile of the course—having these vital metrics displayed on the Engo screen and knowing the split goals for each mile, I could just focus on my form, enjoy the race without constantly looking down at my watch.

It makes the whole experience that much more enjoyable!”

Everything runners ask, answered.

Will I even notice a difference?
